Para nossa redação em inglês teremos alguns
passos para serem seguidos:
Parágrafo de introdução, sentença do tópico,
sentenças de apoio, sentença de conclusão e comentário conclusivo.
Composition
Techniques:
1-Introduction paragraph: General
statements, a general idea about the topic.
2-Topic sentence: Controlling idea
3-Supporting sentence: Usually 3 or more, you
have to prove why your topic sentence is true. 3.1: First of all, firstly, the
first reason, to start with.
3.2: Second, secondly, the second reason.
3.3: Third, thirdly, the third point.
4-Concluding sentence: Go back to your topic
sentence with the same idea but different words to remind the reader of your
idea.
Use: In conclusion, to sum up, to summarize,
considering all the reasons, in view of these reasons
5-Concluding Comment: Optional.
Don't write things like: In my opinion, for
me, I think...
Example to be followed:
Euthanasia
1-There are several people getting sick and
going to the hospitals every year for many reasons, some of them go there
because they need to go through surgery or just because they are treating a
very bad disease that probably has no cure yet and some are in the hospital to
be treated for their whole life or even live there, like for example people who
cannot breathe by themselves and need medical assistance all the time. Some
people think they should die, but 2-
euthanasia should be forbidden for several reasons.
3.1- First,
God is the one who should decide if an individual has to live or not.
3.2- Second,
there have been several medical advancements in many areas, and a cure for the
disease can be found.
3.3- Third,
the patient may change his/her mind during the course of the disease.
4- In conclusion, many reasons
prove that euthanasia should not be legalized.
5- Euthanasia is a mortal sin.
